Responsibilities
- Supervise, coordinate, and monitor daily site operations to ensure compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and schedule.
- Review and interpret construction drawings, technical specifications, and method statements.
- Manage and lead site engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors in executing structural, architectural, and M&E works.
- Prepare and submit site progress reports, work schedules, and inspection requests.
- Liaise with consultants, clients, and relevant authorities to resolve technical and site-related issues.
- Ensure quality assurance and quality control ( QA/QC ) of works in line with contract requirements.
- Conduct regular site inspections and prepare necessary inspection forms for RTO inspections .
- Monitor materials, equipment, and manpower resources to ensure cost-effectiveness and timely project delivery.
- Enforce workplace safety, health, and environmental regulations in line with company and statutory requirements.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and site staff.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Civil/Structural Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 5–8 years of relevant site engineering experience , preferably in building or infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, structural works, and QA/QC processes.
- Familiar with local building codes, regulations, and authority submission requirements.
- Proficient in project management tools, AutoCAD, and MS Office applications.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work independently under pressure and tight deadlines.
