Description
This is for PAXUS, a global leader in financial services technology, delivering enterprise software solutions to the international funds administration industry. PAXUS is part of the APEX Group, operating across multiple continents with a reputation for innovation, agility, and excellence in client delivery. Working closely with the Chief Technology Officer (based in Sydney, Australia) and senior stakeholders, you will help deliver strategic product roadmap objectives for our flagship PAXUS product suite. This is a pivotal hire and a senior role – a senior engineering placement in Singapore, responsible for establishing and driving the regional development capability in alignment with global initiatives.

Leadership & Strategy
Act as the local lead and development team representative for PAXUS in Singapore
Partner with the CTO and global executives to align local development with the global product roadmap
Represent APEX/PAXUS in key stakeholder discussions and regional technology forums
Provide strategic input and status updates to senior management
Software Development & Delivery
Lead the design, implementation, and delivery of robust, scalable solutions using .NET Core, SQL Server, React, and Azure DevOps
Collaborate closely with product managers, business analysts, and engineering teams globally
Responsibility for the Implementations and technical updates for the Investor Client Portal
Influence and improve development practices, frameworks, and deployment standards
Champion DevOps adoption and agile delivery principles across the team
Team Development
Build and mentor a high-performing development team in Singapore
Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and ownership
Coach team members on agile methodologies, best practices, and technical problem-solving
Skills Required:
15+ years of professional software development experience
8+ years of experience in leading or managing development teams
A degree in Computer Science from a recognized institution
Experience as a Developer in the Fund Administration Industry
Direct experience with PAXUS products or other fund administration software
Technical proficiency in: - ASP.Net,.NET Core, C#, SQL Server, SQL, React, TypeScript, Blazor, Git version control and CI/CD practices, Web application security protocols
SQL Design Experience with Azure DevOps and modern software development lifecycle management
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and numerical analysis skills
Experienced in holding consultations with clients
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and the ability to deal with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
Familiarity with MudBlazor, IIS, REST APIs, Azure IaaS config Rider IDE preferably
Postgraduate studies in Computer Science or Software Engineering desirable
Experience working as a Developer in a global organization within a matrix environment
