Responsibilities
- Assess and qualify potential suppliers based on quality criteria
- Manage new project suppliers development from first article (FA) till handover to production inlusive of PPAP / APQP process. Develop and comminication quality requirements to suppliers
- Develop and implement quality control plans for incoming materials and components wit internal technical team
- Monitor and analyze supplier incoming quality performance for raw material and outsourced secondary processes (e.g. plating, passivation, deburring, heat treatment etc) to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Track monthly supplier performance metrics and compile supplier score card periodically
- Raise NCMR and liaise with suppliers for quality issues from IQC, production or customers
- Follow up supplier disposition for quality issues, conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (8D) to address identified issues in timely manner
- identify opportunities for continuous improvement in supplier quality processes to enhance overall spplier chain quality performance
- Plan and condict regular supplier audits to ensure compliance with quality standards
- Participate in customer/certification on company's premises (or) at supplier site relating to supplier management area
- Arrange and organize routin MRB review meeting with internal team for quality rejects and follow up actions until it closes
- Any other tasks assigned by superior or management
Requirements
- Minimum Diploma in Engineering / Quality or related field
- Internal Auditor certified for ISO/IATF 16949, ISO 13485, ISO 14001, ISO 9001
- Must have experience in managing suppliers preferbly in plating and secondary process
- Experience in conducting internal QMS/EMS audits & supplier audits as per automotive requirements
- Experience in automotive manufacturing environment, preferably in metal stamping
- Experience in data analysis and developing / tracking supplier metrics, score card etc
