About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to join our Defence team in delivering mission-critical, wide-area network systems.
You will play a pivotal role in the design, integration, and deployment of server and network-based solutions to support national defence and security.
This is a hands-on role involving system analysis , testing , vendor management , and customer-facing validation .
Key Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and deploy systems comprising servers and network elements over wide area networks (WAN)
- Analyze system requirements and propose technical solutions to meet project and contractual specifications
- Collaborate with project/system managers to define and document system specifications
- Set up test environments for development, integration, and validation
- Source and evaluate hardware; liaise with vendors and suppliers
- Develop test cases and execute acceptance test procedures for system validation
- Support and participate in customer acceptance tests; compile and submit test reports
Key Qualifications & Skills
- Hands-on experience in system integration , site testing , or network/server setup
- Cisco and/or Red Hat certifications are highly preferred
- Interest in hardware integration and on-site system testing
- Ability and willingness to travel for overseas assignments
