Reports to the Chief Corporate Development Officer & Head, Project Management Office. The Project Management Manager (Senior Vice President, Project Management Office) will have the following responsibilities:
- Reinforce the execution capacity of our Project Management Office in Singapore and all our other geographical areas of operation.
- Manage and support the development and construction of our projects: oversee the management and delivery of projects (solar, wind and BESS) from inception, through to execution and construction, ensuring sound governance and best in class implementation standards.
- Coordinate the company’s projects in current locations which include Singapore, South Korea, Japan, Philippines, Thailand and Indonesia with functional experts (e.g. Operations, ESG, Legal, Finance, Strategy), contractors, partners and other stakeholders.
- Work with the technical and engineering teams to oversee the development and construction of projects. In particular, the candidate should assist with the analysis and evaluation of key reports such as Early/Energy Impact Identification, Technical Feasibility, Social Governance, Energy Yield, Due Diligence, Pre-Feasibility Studies etc. and presenting findings, conclusions and recommendations.
- Oversee project execution, ensuring any technical issues are addressed, possible solutions proposed and evaluate the best means for resolution
- Involvement in M&A transactions ensuring the integration of newly acquired entities in Asia Pacific, standardising project management practices, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and driving efficiency.
- Proactively flag risks and potential blockers and determine path to mitigation / resolution / escalation.
Requirements:
- Fluent in English.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate concepts effectively to stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience in relevant project management leadership roles. At least 15 years’ experience with solar, wind and BESS projects in Asia Pacific. - Demonstratable experience managing M&A in Asia Pacific in renewable energy
- Masters in sustainable energy, energy engineering, and energy management or a similar / strong equivalent discipline
- Commercially and technically minded
- Experience in reviewing, evaluating and presenting key reports to Executive Committee.
- Experience in managing multicultural teams, with a strong focus on inclusion and diversity.
