Job Responsibilities:
Responsible in assisting the Head of Risk Management in the direct oversight of the Company’s Operational Risk Management.
Policy and Guidelines
- Assist Head, Risk Management in the review of operational risk management framework, policies and guidelines.
- Develop and maintain technology risk and information security framework, policies and guidelines.
Risk Monitoring and Assessment
- Monitor emerging risks to ascertain the appropriate mitigating measures are in place. Review the impact of changes in the operational risk profile and re-prioritize and update management and board.
- Oversee and manage the Operational Risk and Risk Control Self-Assessment processes, including updating the result in the ERA system and propose action plans to mitigate the residual risks.
- Review and investigate Operational Loss event and ensure adequate follow-up actions.
- Review Complaints and follow-up with the respective dept.
- Assist and support the annual preparation of the Assurance Process for CEO‘s certification to the Board.
Technology Risk Management (“TRM”)
- Review the risk assessment against the MAS Notice and Guidelines on Technology Risk Management, which includes:
Work closely with Technology Security to perform detailed risk and controls assessment, examine and strengthen all information and IT technology security compliance control objectives and provides gap analysis and recommendation to Management.
Annual MAS Technology Risk Questionnaire, performed jointly with Information Services. - Work with Technology Security to investigate information security violation.
- Work closely with IA and Technology Security to review audit findings.
New Product Program & Outsourcing Arrangement
- Ensure new product program process are in place with timely review in accordance with policy requirements.
- Review and update the Company’s outsourcing policy to align with Regulator’s recommendations/requirements, and maintain the outsourcing register.
Business Continuity Management (“BCM”)
- Review and update the BCM framework and plan.
- Assist to develop and review the departmental BCP plan and Business Impact Analysis (“BIA”)
- Assist in the planning and supervising of the BCP testing which includes Industry- Wide BCP exercise, and provide analysis and recommendations.
