We are looking for a Captain to join our team at Valley Wing!
Key Responsibilities
General Knowledge
To have complete knowledge on the beverage / service available / preparation methods and time in sections appointed.
To be aware of SLIM and Hotel standards and policies.
Fire & Life Safety
To be aware of and apply the procedures concerning hotel fire and life safety / emergency procedures.
Hygiene & Sanitation
To apply the necessary precautions with regards to the hotel food safety and hygiene standards
Operations
Ensures personal grooming and conduct according to hotel standards
Checks schedule and ensures punctuality at work
Monitors and ensures smooth operations of the section appointed (restaurant / beverage)
Ensures that service / items are prepared according to hotel minimum standards and standard procedures
Checks quality / presentation / temperature of beverage / service prior to serving
Ensures fill mise-en-place is prepared prior to start of operations and replenished afterwards
Checks cleanliness of sections prior to and after service.
Ensures that all materials, equipment and machinery are properly used and regularly cleaned, in order to prolong usage.
Others
Conducts day to day business and internal/external relations with the code of conduct in mind and on the basis of the Guiding Principles and in the spirit of a “Heartwarming Family”.
Carries out other special projects/tasks assigned by supervisors
Wherever and whenever necessary, liaises with colleagues on aspects of the job which will be helpful to all concerned
