Job Description:
- Manage and oversee the entire shipping process to ensure timely and accurate deliveries of goods.
- Prepare and manage shipping documentation, including customs compliance for international shipments, airway bills, invoices, and export/import permits.
- Collaborate with freight forwarders, carriers, and internal teams to optimise shipping operations and negotiate freight rates.
- Address and resolve shipping-related issues, such as delays, damages, or discrepancies, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Collaborate with the finance department to ensure accurate billing and cost allocation. Prepare detailed reports and performance metrics for shipping activities, identifying opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiency enhancements.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field (preferred)
- Minimum 2 to 5 years in shipping, logistics, or freight coordination, preferably in an international trade environment.
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), transportation management systems (TMS), and MS Excel (for reporting and data analysis).
- Familiarity with Incoterms, export controls, and customs brokerage procedures.
- Strong written and verbal communication for coordination across departments and with external partners.
