Job Responsibilities:
- Liaise with clients on-site for project/job requirements and walkdowns
- Propose mechanical/piping/engineering solutions based on site needs
- Prepare cost estimates, material take-offs, and project quotations
- Source materials, equipment, and subcontractor quotations
- Plan and coordinate manpower and job execution (site, fabrication shop, etc.)
- Review and interpret drawings (isometric, piping plans, structural)
- Edit and update CAD drawings, as-built records, and field design changes
- Ensure work complies with codes, specifications, and client requirements
- Manage RFIs and project documentation
- Assist in safety documentation (e.g., MSRA, lifting plans, fall prevention plans)
- Coordinate with internal teams and subcontractors to ensure project success
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 2–5 years’ experience in process plant / construction / maintenance projects
