Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day operations on-site and ensure construction activities are carried out in accordance with project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Manage and supervise all site personnel, including subcontractors, workers, and safety officers.
- Coordinate and liaise with clients, consultants, and vendors to ensure smooth communication and timely delivery of materials and services.
- Monitor and enforce strict adherence to safety and quality standards in line with MOM, BCA, and other regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control and identify any issues that may affect project timelines or safety.
- Ensure that project timelines are met by coordinating work schedules, procurement, and resources effectively.
- Track project progress, prepare progress reports, and present updates to senior management and clients.
- Manage site budget, monitor project costs, and ensure efficient allocation of resources to meet financial targets.
- Handle any site-related issues, complaints, or conflicts in a professional and timely manner, finding solutions to minimize delays.
- Maintain detailed documentation of site activities, including work schedules, change orders, daily reports, and safety logs.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Site Manager or similar role in construction, with at least 3 years of experience in managing HDB construction projects.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, site operations, and relevant regulations (MOM, BCA, etc.).
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team and work under pressure.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Proficient in using construction management software and MS Office tools.
- Good communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong focus on safety and quality assurance.
- Relevant qualifications in construction management or a related field (e.g., Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering, Building, or Construction).
