- Sous Chef position- assisting Head Chef to run the kitchen smoothly
- Familiar with Western cuisine techniques and basic pastry skills; experience in catering is a bonus
- Able to lead kitchen team in Head chef's absence
- A team player that can work well with colleagues and work fast and efficiently under stress
- Keeps cooking stations stocked, especially before and during prime operation hours
- Supervises all food preparation and presentation to ensure quality and restaurant & catering standards
- Works with head chef to maintain kitchen organisation, staff ability, and training opportunities
- Verifies that food storage units all meet standards and are consistently well-managed
- Assists head chef with menu creation
- Coordinates with restaurant management team on supply ordering, budget, and kitchen efficiency and staffing
