Job Description:
Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEP) and Individual Transition Plans (ITP), track students' progress, assess learning outcomes, and prepare progress reports.
Design and deliver engaging lessons across various subjects, incorporating the Universal Design for Learning (UDL) framework.
Apply effective intervention strategies and positive behavior support techniques to foster student development.
Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment both inside and outside the classroom.
Guide and support Teacher Assistants in instructional methods and classroom management.
Collaborate with the IEP team and families to ensure the best support for students' learning and development.
Organize and participate in school events, activities, and committees.
Facilitate IEP discussions and case conferences.
Engage in curriculum planning to enhance educational programs.
Attend staff meetings, case discussions, home visits, and professional development training.
What We’re Looking For:
Diploma in Special Education from NIE.
At least 1 year of experience in a special needs education setting.
Passionate about supporting students with special needs and making a positive impact.
