Summary
Reporting to the Assistant Manager FP&A, you will play a key role in managing financial matters related to aircraft lease management and insurance-related matters, including claims handling and coordination with internal and external stakeholders. You will also contribute to budgeting and forecasting activities, and support ongoing system enhancements to improve financial processes and operational efficiency.Job Description
Aircraft and insurance
Managing aircraft leases (including rent, maintenance reserves invoice verifications), provide support to Legal and Engineering teams on lease-related matters
Handling of insurance claims submitted by internal stakeholders
Monitoring on claim statuses and ensure timely settlement by insurer/reinsurers
Gather and review relevant data from multiple departments within Scoot; compile underwriting information for submission to insurance brokers
Management Reporting
Forecast / Budget
Assist Business Units (BUs) in drawing a comprehensive budget by validating assumptions and ensuring all costs are accounted for to support accurate financial planning for the upcoming year or periods
Consolidate all submissions and prepare for management's review
Address queries from BUs related to expenditure accounting, providing guidance and clarification as needed
Projects
Supporting the ongoing enhancements/model builds for financial planning system
Requirements:
Degree in Accounting and Finance or equivalent. Prior experience in full set accounting is a plus.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel
Prior experiences with Netsuite, Workday Adaptive Planning a plus
Good inter-personal and communication skills.
Self-driven, able to work independently and in a team, and perform well under pressure.
