- Minimum 8 years of relevant Presales experience working in Systems Integrator (SI) environment with demonstrated progression to senior technical roles
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Servers, Compute, Storage, Virtualization, Backup, Network and Security solutions like Dell, NetApp, HPE, Cisco, VMware, Nvidia, Commvault, Cohesity, etc.
- Minimum 3 years of leadership or team management experience in technical presales or solution engineering roles
- Proven track record of leading and managing high-performing technical teams
Technical Expertise
- Proficient in multi-tiered IT infrastructure solution design and architecture
- Conversant with current solution offerings of major vendors such as Dell, NetApp, VMware, Cisco, Nvidia etc.
- Extensive experience in leading and managing IT infrastructure solutions for RFP and Tender requirements
- Strong technical proficiency with ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value propositions
Responsibilities:
- Lead and participate in complex, high-value customer engagements and enterprise-level opportunities
- Collaborate & partner with the sales team to identify customer business requirements for strategic accounts
- Provide senior-level consultancy to customers by understanding their needs and translating them to feasible solutions
- Take ownership of major RFPs and tenders, ensuring high-quality technical responses and solution architecture
- Deliver executive-level presentations and POC demonstrations internally and externally for critical deals
- Design / Architect complex solutions including scoping of services effort leveraging best practices and industry standards
- Ensure smooth transition of customer requirements & solutions from presales team to implementation team for strategic projects
- Resolve escalated technical questions by conducting advanced analysis and research
- Act as the technical authority for complex multi-vendor solution architectures
- Stay abreast of new technologies, competitive landscape, and industry trends
- Identify market segments and create value propositions that significantly help in deal conversions
