Staff Engineer, Manufacturing Test
Control & manage resources to maximize test equipment uptime capacity for production requirements.
Modify, install & improve test systems and test procedures.
Control cost & forecast budget / expenditure.
Maintain documentation system.
Participate in employee involvement team.
Conduct regular PM on test equipment.
Provide training to Test Engineering Assistant / Technician.
Perform special projects.
Resolve all test hardware & software issues to meet zero TPF.
Develop & drive action of the test TTT for all products.
Modify test software to enhance test method and supervise the work of cognizant technical personnel required to carry out assignments

Meet Departmental goals on Cost, Responsiveness & Quality objectives
Track & manage CAPEX spending within the allocated budget
Supervise and coach subordinates and implements company policy (applicable for managerial role)
Drive LEAN opportunities on manufacturing lines
Provide an area of technology expertise
Provide technical resource & training to staff
Keep abreast and support future Manufacturing Testing developments
Implement and execute plans to support meeting the goals/objectives
Manages the planning and executing yield/quality/process
Manages in developing and promoting new technologies and processes
Manages team to improve manufacturing testing/ processes (applicable for managerial role)
Manages a team of Senior / Engineers in the development of manufacturing processes with the least cost & highest quality to match the product design (applicable for managerial role)
Assume consultancy role of the Manufacturing Test expert
Provide expert advice on qualification support for new line setups
Manages new product/process start-ups/transfers and change management
Degree Holders in Mechanical Engineering/Electrical and Electronic Engineering/Production Engineering/Chemical Engineering
Minimum of 15 years of working experience, with 12 years of relevant experience in Manufacturing testing environment and at least 3 years in managerial/supervisory role if keen on managerial role.
Independent and able to work under minimum supervision
