Job Description
About the Internship
We are looking for a driven and analytical intern to join our Strategic Finance team in Singapore. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain exposure to high-level financial strategy, business partnering, and cross-functional decision-making processes that shape the Group’s performance and direction.
As a Strategic Finance Intern, you will support the Business Partnering Manager and wider finance team in conducting research, preparing financial analyses, and building insight-driven presentations for senior leadership. You will be embedded in the “storytelling engine” of the company, learning how data and insights influence decisions made by the CFO, CEO, and Board of Directors.
This is an excellent opportunity for students interested in finance, consulting, or strategy to gain hands-on experience in a regional tech and e-commerce environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in preparing financial models, scenario analyses, and business cases to support investment decisions and resource allocation.
Support the development of strategic decks and narratives for senior stakeholders (e.g., CEO, CFO, and Board).
Conduct market and competitor research to benchmark business performance and identify risks or opportunities.Help translate business unit assumptions into group-level insights for long-term planning (LTP) and the AOP.
Work with the team to evaluate key performance metrics, including ROI, sales productivity, and retail efficiency.
Support ad hoc projects such as pricing analysis, cost optimisation studies, or performance deep-dives.
Qualifications
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related discipline.
Prior relevant experience in supporting and coordinating budgeting and forecasting processes
Strong interest in strategic finance, consulting, or business strategy.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; comfortable working with Excel/Google Sheets for financial modeling.Excellent communication and presentation skills — ability to structure ideas clearly in both written and verbal form.
Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
