Supervisor Responsibilities:
- Ensure teams collaborate effectively to deliver high-quality work within strict deadlines
- Monitor construction processes and conduct routine site, equipment, and material inspections
- Enforce strict adherence to health and safety regulations at all times
- Provide on-the-job training and organize team-building sessions as needed
- Schedule and lead regular meetings with vendors, site inspectors, managers, and staff
- Prepare reports, budgets, and project plans; present to relevant stakeholders
- Work closely with architects and other construction professionals
- Stay updated on safety codes, industry regulations, and construction advancements
- Handle administrative tasks and required documentation
- Travel to and manage multiple construction sites as necessary
Supervisor Requirements:
- High school diploma or similar
- Experience in the construction industry required.
- Experience in a leadership role recommended.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to focus and keep calm under pressure.
- Ability to keep track of multiple projects.
- Must be comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions, including exposure to the hot sun.
- Ability to perform tasks that may result in hands getting dirty or handling construction materials directly.
