System Analyst

Job Objectives

• Lead and deliver the AML SAM Actimize v9.0 upgrade into production, ensuring compliance with SDM policies.
• Provide reliable system analysis and technical support for AML Transaction Monitoring System upgrade projects.
• Ensure smooth execution during System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phases.
• Manage and resolve Audit and Security findings in a timely and effective manner.
• Proactively identify and escalate critical delivery blockers , and propose practical solutions or workarounds.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements, define solutions, and document Functional Specifications .
• Design, develop, and unit test enhancements to the AML Transaction Monitoring system.
• Participate in and support SIT/UAT planning and execution .
• Manage and collaborate with vendors to ensure timely and quality delivery of SAM v9.0 upgrades.
• Work closely with key stakeholders across project phases to ensure alignment and transparency.
• Coordinate with Infrastructure and Change Management teams for deployment in a DevOps environment .
• Setup and maintain application infrastructure in UNIX, Windows, and Oracle environments.
• Implement system changes using Bitbucket, Jenkins , and Aldon as part of the SDLC and change management processes.
• Conduct internal knowledge-sharing and training sessions to uplift team capabilities and ensure alignment with best practices.

Key Requirements

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in AML Transaction Monitoring and system enhancements within the banking industry .
• Proven experience with AML Actimize components : RCM, SAM, AIS .
• Strong Oracle SQL and PL/SQL skills for design, development, and troubleshooting.
• Solid experience in data mapping from source systems to target environments.
• Demonstrated success in leading design workshops , defect analysis, and upgrade coordination.
• Strong vendor management and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
• Good understanding of application design and operational risk/impact considerations.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools and deployment automation (Bitbucket, Jenkins, Aldon).
• Proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint for documentation and stakeholder communication.
• Self-driven individual contributor with excellent communication and team leadership abilities .

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Actimize SAM v9.0 upgrade projects
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements in AML/Compliance domain
• Background in application performance tuning and system optimization
