Responsibilities:
- Establish controls and compliance checks on System Development Methodology (SDM) SDLC processes
- Conduct quality gate review for SDM major milestones (analysis, design, build, test and deployment)
- Perform walkthroughs and interviews with project and application delivery managers to drive process adherence
- Report findings and provide consulting support in ensuring compliance with procedures
- Design, formulate and enforce governance & compliance process improvement.
- Aside from day-to-day duties, there will be requirements to undertake other responsibilities such as management reporting & other centrally driven project initiatives as needed
Requirements:
Education:
- Degree in computer science/engineering or related disciplines
Essential:
- At least 6 to 9 years of relevant experience in IT process compliance, audit or PMO / Project Management
- Meticulous, detailed, excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal, organization and analytical skills a MUST
- Strong working experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), MS Project and SharePoint
- Prior experience in IT compliance and/or audit will be added advantage

This role is like being a “Project Quality Gatekeeper” for IT system development in the bank.You're not building the systems yourself, but your job is to make sure every IT project follows the bank’s official development process (called the System Development Methodology, or SDM) at every major phase from design to testing to deployment. You check that each SDM milestone (like analysis, design, build, test, deploy) is completed properly and all required documents are in order. You review deliverables such as design specs, test cases, and deployment plans to make sure they meet quality standards. You interview project teams and ask for evidence to confirm process steps were followed. If something is missing or off-track, you flag the issue and work with project managers to correct it. You also help to improve compliance processes and support central reporting or governance tasks.
