[What the role is]
The Technical Officer is responsible for providing administrative and technical assistance and support to staff in the School of Business and Services.[What you will be working on]
- Provide first-line technical support to staff
- Maintain and troubleshoot facilities, hardware, and software
- Manage classroom and laboratory setups
- Oversee asset management and procurement processes
- Maintain SharePoint systems and user accounts
- Support AV setup for school events
- Serve as safety officer
- Assist with network infrastructure and Wi-Fi maintenance
- Handle procurement duties and vendor management
[What we are looking for]
- Minimum 3 years relevant experience, preferably in education
- Strong Microsoft Office and SharePoint proficiency
- Workplace Safety and Health Control Measures certification
- Technical troubleshooting expertise
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Independent worker with strong teamwork abilities
- Detail-oriented with effective time management skills
- Commitment to continuous learning
