Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in program management.
Preferred qualifications:
- 7 years of experience in network operations and data communications.
- 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
- 5 years of experience with network multilayered OSS, network design, and network security.
- Experience with developing software in a Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) environment.
- Experience with data communications protocols and data network design, open network protocols, models and strategies.
- Familiarity with enterprise networking (e.g., L3 Routing, Switching (CISCO) SD WAN and Security).

- Review, design, implement and operationally manage Global Submarine Networks (GSN's) Layer 2-3 IP Secure Data Communications Network (DCN) and Operational Support Systems (OSS) and Cloud based applications and systems.
- Work closely with stakeholders, supporting GSN's Network Operations center (NOC) to develop systems operating processes.
- Monitor and troubleshoot network and OSS systems performance.
- Manage and track Quality of Service (QoS) issues and resolutions.
- Work with technology suppliers, security, risk and compliance teams to ensure Google maintains the highest levels of reliability in respect of operating systems and networks.
