Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Tender Manager (Main Con A1) background to lead and manage the tendering process for our residential and building projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cost estimation, tender preparation, and coordination with stakeholders in large-scale HDB, Condo, or similar construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end tender process including cost estimation, tender documentation, and bid submission.
- Review architectural, structural, and M&E drawings to derive accurate quantities for pricing.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and internal departments for cost input and technical clarifications.
- Evaluate project risks and propose pricing strategies and assumptions.
- Attend tender interviews, site show rounds, and post-tender negotiations.
- Ensure compliance with tender requirements, including timelines, formats, and pricing accuracy.
- Monitor market trends and material pricing to ensure competitive and profitable tender bids.
- Support post-tender clarifications and contract finalization with clients and consultants.
Requirements:
- Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying , Building , Construction Management , or related discipline.
- Proven experience in preparing tenders for HDB , Condominium , and General Building projects.
- Strong knowledge in local construction cost, materials, and subcontractor markets.
- Proficient in cost estimation software and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
- Able to work independently and meet strict deadlines.
