Responsibilities:
- Safely operate the Tower Crane in accordance with the Workplace Safety and Health (Operation of Cranes) Regulations 2011 .
- Work closely with the signal team to ensure full compliance with the WSH Act and its subsidiary legislations, including the WSH (Construction) Regulations and WSH (Operation of Cranes) Regulations , during daily lifting operations.
- Assess ground conditions from height to confirm suitability for lifting operations and promptly report findings to the Lifting Supervisor.
- Conduct pre-operation inspections of the crane as per the manufacturer’s manual to ensure safe functionality and report any defects or malfunctions.
- Immediately stop work or notify the Supervisor if any unsafe conditions or deviations are identified.
- Operate the crane strictly in line with clear instructions from a signalman.
- Uphold and promote safe work practices at all times.
Skills & Requirements:
- Certificate in Tower Crane Operation.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience as a Tower Crane Operator.
- Successfully completed the Building Construction Supervisor Safety Course .
- Licensed and registered Tower Crane Operator with MOM.
- Physically fit with strong reflexes, capable of climbing towers.
