Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced VBA Trainer with a valid ACLP certification to deliver structured, engaging, and hands-on training sessions for professionals across various industries. The trainer will be responsible for educating learners on Excel automation and advanced VBA programming, equipping them with practical skills to optimize business processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deliver VBA training programs , from foundational to advanced levels.
- Conduct interactive classroom or virtual sessions with real-world exercises and coding challenges.
- Customize training content to align with organizational or client-specific processes and workflows.
- Develop supporting materials including slides, manuals, exercises, and assessments.
- Assess learners’ progress and provide actionable feedback to support their growth.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest VBA features and Excel automation trends.
- Collaborate with the instructional design team to continuously improve training content.
- Provide post-training support and mentorship when required.
Required Qualifications:
- ACLP (Advanced Certificate in Learning and Performance) certification (mandatory).
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or related fields.
- Minimum 2-5 years of practical experience with Excel VBA programming and automation.
- At least 1-2 years of experience in corporate training, teaching, or facilitation roles.
- Strong command of Excel functions , macros , and VBA coding techniques .
- Solid understanding of automation use cases in business environments (e.g., reporting, data processing).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, Bloom’s Taxonomy).
- Experience with advanced Excel features such as Power Query, Power Pivot, and integration with Access or Outlook.
- Ability to deliver both in-person and online training effectively.
- Skilled in adapting teaching style to different learner profiles and corporate environments.
