We are seeking an experienced and visionary Vice President to lead our Battery Separator Division , a core part of our advanced energy materials business. This is a strategic executive role responsible for driving growth, operational excellence, and innovation in one of the fastest-growing sectors—battery technology for electric vehicles (EVs), consumer electronics, and grid storage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and execute the business strategy for the battery separator division, aligned with global energy and mobility trends.
- Identify and pursue new markets, technologies, and partnership opportunities.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and with strategic customers.
- Oversee R&D initiatives to develop next-generation separator technologies (e.g., wet/dry process, ceramic coating).
- Collaborate with technology teams to improve product performance, safety, and cost-efficiency.
- Lead cross-functional teams to ensure world-class manufacturing and quality control.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.) across operations.
- Build and maintain relationships with global battery manufacturers, OEMs, and Tier 1 suppliers.
- Lead contract negotiations, pricing strategies, and long-term commercial agreements.
- Manage go-to-market strategies for new product introductions.
- Build and mentor a high-performance team across engineering, sales, operations, and support functions.
- Cultivate a culture of accountability, innovation, and excellence.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, or related field (Master’s or MBA preferred).
- 10–15+ years of progressive leadership experience in advanced materials, energy storage, or battery component industries.
- Deep understanding of battery separator technologies and market dynamics.
- Strong business acumen, with experience managing P&L and cross-functional global teams.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
