The Business Management Specialist is responsible for strategic planning and communications, executing on continuous improvement initiatives that aligns to long-term strategic objectives. Collaborate with department heads to support workforce planning and management, cultivate a high-performance team culture. This role requires a dynamic leader who can balance strategic vision with hands-on execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning, Communications & Roadmap Development
- Define and maintain the SRE roadmap, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Prioritize key initiatives based on impact, feasibility, and resource availability.
- Align with leadership to set objectives and key results for reliability, automation, and operational efficiency.
- Develop executive-level presentations and messaging for all-hands meetings, keynotes, and industry events
- Collaborate with operations and engineering teams to distil complex technical information into accessible and compelling executive narratives.
- Create high-quality slide decks that reflect both strategic clarity and visual storytelling.
- Ensure message consistency across internal and external communication channels.
- Lead or support cross-functional initiatives that support growth, innovation, and continuous improvement and change management efforts.
- Assess team capacity and skill gaps to ensure the right mix of talent and expertise.
- Define hiring strategies to scale the team effectively and optimize team structure for efficient collaboration
- Implement people strategy initiatives including talent development, succession planning, and performance management.
- Foster a culture of positivity, inclusiveness, reliability, ownership, and continuous improvement.
- Develop engagement programs to improve employee satisfaction, retention, and motivation.
- Implement initiatives such as hackathons, internal training, mentorship programs, and recognition systems.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Communications or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in executive communications, operations and strategy preferably in the tech industry
- Strong storytelling, writing, and editing skills—with a portfolio showcasing executive communications and presentation work.
- Strong interpersonal, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- Experience in change management and scaling operational processes.
- Demonstrated ability to lead through influence and build strong cross-functional relationships.

- Data-driven mindset with the ability to align operations with strategic goals.
