Roles and Responsibilities of Warehouse Van Driver
- Safely operate and drive warehouse vans to deliver goods to various destinations.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of merchandise to clients or storage facilities.
- Conduct regular inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Maintain the cleanliness and proper maintenance of the vehicle.
- Verify and document deliveries, including obtaining signatures and providing receipts.
- Assist with loading and unloading goods, ensuring the proper handling of items.
- Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving.
- Keep accurate records of delivery logs, mileage, and fuel consumption.
- Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and clients regarding delivery schedules.
- Report any vehicle issues or accidents promptly to the management.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including safety protocols.
