The aim of the Business Development and Partnership teams is to provide Shopee’s buyers with a wide variety of product listings at the best prices.
About the Team:
We’re on the lookout for an energetic and driven Account Manager to join our Business Development team and take charge of the fast-growing Travel & Dining Services category! In this role, you’ll play a key part in shaping the success of our merchant partners, with a strong focus on the vibrant Food & Beverage (F&B) and ride-hailing sectors. You’ll be at the forefront of building impactful partnerships, driving growth, and creating winning strategies that fuel commercial success.
Job Description:
- Drive commercial growth for a portfolio of key accounts within the Travel & Dining Services category, with a primary focus on F&B merchants and ride-hailing partners
- Develop and implement strategic plans to engage accounts and optimise their performance in both day-to-day operations and large-scale Shopee campaigns
- Analyse account performance and operational metrics to identify growth opportunities and provide data-driven solutions to improve business outcomes
- Collaborate with the acquisitions team to pitch and successfully onboard new merchants, expanding our service offerings
- Work closely with internal teams, including Marketing, Revenue and Operations, to ensure smooth execution of all initiatives and campaigns
- Lead in-team projects to establish improved processes and introduce new strategic initiatives that enhance overall team and category performance
- Engage with accounts to drive participation in Shopee campaigns, collaborating with them to achieve and exceed campaign targets
- Partner with Category Managers to define, implement and execute a comprehensive growth strategy for the Travel & Dining Services vertical
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; recent graduates are encouraged to apply
- Relevant experience in account management or category management would be advantageous
- Experience in e-commerce or a related industry is preferred
- Strong communication skills with a proven ability to build and sustain client relationships
- Entrepreneurial mindset: a self-starter who is comfortable with ambiguity, willing to experiment, and eager to take on new challenges in a dynamic environment
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and apply insights to decision-making
