[What the role is]
This role is responsible for the accounting for SLF and its subsidiaries.[What you will be working on]
As Accountant, you will be responsible for the following:
• Review and process payment invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal procedures
• Responsible for the preparation and analysis of monthly group management accounts
• Assist in annual budget preparation for the Foundation and its subsidiaries
• Handle statutory compliance matters including audit support, GST submissions, tax returns, and XBRL filings for assigned subsidiaries
• Monitor cash flows and prepare documentation for fund transfers and fixed deposit placements
• Compile financial reports for government ministries (AGD, MOM, MOF) as required
• Work collaboratively with various departments to address operational and financial matters
• Support process improvements initiatives within finance
• S upport ad-hoc projects as assigned by management
[What we are looking for]
• Degree in Accountancy with 2 years or Diploma in Accountancy with 5 years relevant working experience
• Good analytical skil l
• Good report writing skills
• Conversant with use of Excel
• Meticulous, resourceful and able to work independently to deliver quality work
• Able to manage tight deadlines and multi tasks
• Team player with good communication and interpersonal skills
