1. Day-to-Day Accounting
- Maintain daily records of financial transactions.
- Prepare journal entries, invoices, and vouchers.
- Post transactions to ledgers and reconcile accounts.
2. Accounts Payable & Receivable
- Process supplier invoices and employee reimbursements.
- Ensure timely payments to vendors and follow up on customer payments.
- Maintain records of incoming and outgoing payments.
3. Bank Reconciliation
- Reconcile company bank statements with accounting records.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies.
4. Financial Reporting
- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Support the finance manager in creating balance sheets, profit and loss statements, etc.
5. GST / VAT / Tax Filing (Region-Specific)
- Prepare and file GST/VAT or other tax returns on time.
- Ensure compliance with local tax regulations.
6. Audit & Compliance
- Assist internal and external auditors. Ensure financial practices comply with company policies and legal regulations.
Key Skills Required:
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, Xero, MYOB)
- Strong attention to detail
- Knowledge of accounting principles and standards
