Job Title: Accountant Manager (Spa & Wellness Industry)
Roles & Responsibilities
The Accountant Manager will oversee accounting, finance, compliance, and selected operational support functions for the spa & wellness business in Singapore. This role includes managing daily financial operations, preparing management reports, ensuring statutory compliance, assisting in store promotional activities, preparing daily sales reports, and supporting the business owner and operational team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Core Responsibilities:
- Manage daily accounting tasks, including accounts receivable/payable, expense tracking, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare daily sales reports and maintain accurate sales records.
- Prepare monthly and annual financial reports for management review.
- Ensure timely GST, tax, and statutory filings in Singapore.
- Maintain accounting records in the company’s accounting system.
- Assist with payroll processing, CPF submissions, and staff expense claims.
- Monitor operational costs and assist in vendor payment processes.
- Work with external service providers, including auditors and tax agents.
- Assist with budgeting, basic forecasting, and financial data analysis.
- Support promotional activities, marketing events, and operational tasks within the spa. Assist with general administrative duties as required.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Degree holders are welcome).
- 1–2 years of relevant accounting experience preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and basic accounting software.
- Knowledge of Singapore accounting standards and GST reporting is an advantage.
- Good attention to detail, organisational skills, and ability to meet deadlines. Able to work independently and as part of a team.
