Role Overview
We’re seeking a meticulous, proactive Accounts Executive to take ownership of the full finance function for multiple business units, including AR, AP, month-end closing, management reporting, GST returns, intercompany transactions, and audit support.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage AR: invoicing, collections, credit notes, dispute resolution.
- Manage AP: invoice processing, payment preparation, supplier reconciliation.
- Month-end closing: journals, reconciliations, Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow.
- Prepare quarterly GST returns.
- Handle intercompany transactions and reconciliations.
- Prepare sales commission calculations.
- Support annual financial audits with schedules and documents.
- Participate in ad-hoc finance projects and process improvements.
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience; full set of accounts preferred.
- Strong Excel and MS Office skills; ERP knowledge a plus.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles, GST reporting, and audit processes.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- High integrity, reliability, and a positive, can-do attitude.
- Able to work independently and meet deadlines.
