Duties/Responsibilities:
- Good knowledge of ACMV/HVAC air-conditioning systems.
- Ensure that maintenance programmes and repair work are carried out efficiently by the team of technical officers and technicians.
- Make sure daily air-conditioning comfort levels meet acceptable standards.
- Follow all quality, health, and safety regulations.
- Update facilities supervisors, managers, technicians, and other departments on the progress of assigned tasks.
- Work closely with different professionals to find practical solutions to challenging problems.
- Improve operational processes for greater efficiency and energy savings.
- Prepare reports and other necessary documents.
- Create maintenance plans and schedules.
- Coordinate contractors for installation and maintenance projects.
- Inspect completed contractor work to ensure it meets safety and compliance standards.
- Plan, schedule, and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance work for ACMV systems, reallocating resources as needed.
- Research systems and equipment and share findings with stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Assess the performance and efficiency of systems and equipment.
- Lead or join investigations into equipment faults, attend review meetings, provide updates, and carry out corrective and preventive actions. This may include installing or modifying new or existing mechanical systems.
Education and Experience:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or other Engineering equivalent
- Minimum 3 Years of experience in ACMV Trade or Facilities Management or project management
- Able to guide and troubleshoot ACMV faults.
- Good communication skills and positive mindset
- Meticulous, self-motivated, self-discipline, good communication skills and well-organized; and has a good safety mindset and displays good WSH behaviour.
