Job Description
- Lead projects on noise, vibration, acoustics and work closely with Project Manager and Project Director.
- Lead noise and vibration impact assessments for environmental projects in Singapore, Southeast Asia and Asia.
- Be responsible for writing/ mentoring and reviewing reports and associated technical output with multinational clients and government agencies;
- Participate in key activities associated with the development of the noise, vibration, acoustics/audiovisual disciplines with the respective leads in each major country/region; attend weekly team meetings and participate in technical knowledge transfer sessions and technical conferences.
- Perform site visit/inspection/assessment and supervise subcontractors as required for the projects handled.
- Support other projects in Singapore and other regions as and when required.
- Support team manager in project and proposal management as well as administrative duties
- Shall carry out duties in accordance with quality and environmental management system, health and safety policies and procedures of the company.
- Shall report quality, environmental, health and safety problems or any suggestions to his/her immediate superior.
- Shall perform other duties that his/her immediate superior may assign from time to time.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Acoustics, Environmental Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or other related disciplines (e.g. Civil engineering, Building Physics etc.)
- Minimum of 5 years experience in acoustics consultancy.
- Take initiative at workplace.
- Good working knowledge of at least two specializations e.g Architectural Acoustics, Environmental Noise , Building Services Noise & Vibration, Sound System Design, Vibration Control.
- Good working knowledge of at least two acoustic software eg INSUL, SoundPLAN, ODEON, EASE, CATT.
- Working knowledge of CAD, GIS, Revit or BIM.
- Good working knowledge of local and international acoustics codes, laws and regulations.
- Excellent technical writing and presentation skills
- Highly proficient in English for technical writing and presentation.
- Experience in audiovisual design or environmental impact assessments will be highly regarded.
