About the Role
We are looking for a Business Development Executive who thrives in a client-facing environment, has strong interpersonal skills and is highly organized. You should be confident, proactive, and capable of balancing client coordination with internal stakeholders management.
In this role, you’ll be involved across the full business development cycle — from identifying new leads and preparing visually polished proposals, to collaborating across departments and supporting long-term client relationships. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys fast-paced environments, has a keen eye for detail, and can contribute both strategically and in a hands on supporting role.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead Sourcing & Opportunity Identification
- Identify and qualify new leads through networking events, digital platforms, CRM tools, and industry research
- Track potential RFPs, projects, and partnership opportunities
- Build and maintain a database of prospects and market insights
- Represent the company at selected events or meetings to build connections and visibility
2. Proposal & Presentation Development
- Prepare visually compelling, well-structured proposals, pitch decks, and RFP responses
- Ensure brand consistency and client relevance in all proposal materials
- Coordinate with design, tech, and ops teams to gather content and assets
- Manage internal documentation of proposals, assets, and templates
3. Internal Collaboration & Project Coordination
- Work cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure alignment on proposals and deliverables
- Monitor project milestones and deadlines
- Ensure client requirements are clearly communicated to internal teams and followed through
- Maintain smooth coordination and timely updates across departments
4. Client & Account Support
- Support client communications post-submission, including follow-ups and clarification
- Assist in onboarding new clients and tracking deliverables or timelines
- Help manage existing accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and relationship continuity
- Coordinate internally on renewal discussions, scope changes, or feedback
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related fields
- Minimum 2 years of experience in business development, sales support, or account/client management
- Strong visual communication skills; ability to create well-designed, professional decks (PowerPoint, Keynote, Canva)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Mandarin; proficiency in a third language is a plus
- Outgoing, confident, and able to build rapport quickly
- Extremely organized with high attention to detail
- Able to manage multiple timelines and prioritize effectively
- Fast learner who can grasp complex concepts and solutions quickly
- Proactive and independent, but also comfortable collaborating across teams
- Willingness to travel if required
