We are Commodity Connect Pte Ltd, a leading commodity trading solutions provider to clients across the globe. We facilitate end to end sourcing, logistics & transportation, storage and supply of products and commodities.
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts and Admin Assistant to join our team. This role will support both the accounting and administrative functions of the business, ensuring smooth daily operations.
Responsibilities:
- Accounting:
- Processing invoices and expense reports
- Managing petty cash and reimbursements
- Maintaining accurate financial records
- Assisting with bank reconciliations
- Preparing financial reports
- Supporting with shipping documentation
- Reconciliation with subsidiaries local and overseas company.
- Proficient in XERO accounting software
- Administrative:
- Answering phones and directing calls
- Managing office administrations
- Maintaining office filing systems
- Providing general administrative support to staff
- Assisting with travel arrangements
- Drafting and preparing correspondence and email.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma / ITE or equivalent in accounting or a related field is a plus
- Proven experience in accounting and administrative support roles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Xero Accounting
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with accounting software is a plus.
- Familiarity with office equipment (copiers, scanners, etc.)
