This advertisement is recruiting for the position of Admin Assistant cum Receptionist.
If successfully selected, you will be seconded to MOE primary school located in Fernvale Road.
Contract Period: from 02 January 2026 to 31 December 2026
Option to Extend: for a further period of 1 year.
Personnel to be deployed at the following hours :
- Mondays to Fridays: 7:00am to 4:15pm, inclusive of 45min lunch break
- Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public.
The services required are set out as the follows:
1. Customer Service at the front desk which includes:
- Answer phone calls promptly and courteously
- Attend to phone and walk-in inquiries
- Apply Customer Service etiquette such as showing empathy, listen actively, communicate in a friendly manner
2. Caring for students :
- Attend to students in the sickbay
- Administer First Aid when required
- Contact parents when required
- Co-ordinate early dismissal of students
3. Assist in admin duties :
- Data Entry
- Receive goods delivered and coordinate with the ordering person
- Assist GO staff with school events
- Any other duties assigned by the school.
Personnel shall minimally have the following qualifications, skills and experience:
Minimum Qualification
- ESS Career Readiness Certificate (operations) or ESS Workplace Literacy and numeracy (WPLN) Level 5.
Experience
- Shall have at least 3 years of experience in administrative duties
- Prior Experience working in school environment will be an added advantage
Other Skills Preferred
- Bilingual (English and Mandarin) preferred.
- Ability to speak and understand additional languages eg. Malay or Tamil will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge in Microsoft Office.
