- Responsible for APAC corporate tax, GST/VAT, withholding tax and other compliance work
- Provide tax advisory support and direction to internal stakeholders
- Partner with Business, Accounting, Legal, Treasury and other functions to communicate,
execute and protect various tax and non-tax initiatives
- Lead and/or support local and global tax projects
- Work in partnership with cross functional business teams for development and
implementation of key strategic business changes, routes to market and reorganizations
- Work in cross-border teams to implement and improve tax controls, policies, and
processes
- Research/monitor tax legislation changes and assess the implications to the Group
- Manage external tax consultants
- Any other works assigned by line manager
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance/relevant field
- Min 8 years of relevant tax experience
- Having the following experiences are a plus:
✓ Transfer pricing, GST/VAT, withholding tax, tax planning, customs duties etc.
✓ Tax governance, frameworks and tax controls
