Job Description
- Create production schedules for production lines, ensuring that production targets are met and customer orders are fulfilled.
- Analyze production data and adjust production schedules as necessary to ensure efficient use of company resources.
- Work with the sales team to understand customer demand and adjust production schedules accordingly.
- Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure that raw materials and components are available in a timely manner.
- Monitor inventory levels and adjust production schedules to maintain appropriate stock levels.
- Coordinate with quality control personnel to ensure that production meets quality standards and customer specifications.
- Continuously monitor production processes and identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Prepare reports on production schedules, inventory levels, and production metrics for management review.
- Proficiency in MS Office and other office software, as well as good data analysis skills.
- Work closely with the production team to resolve any production process issues and minimize production delays and quality problems.
- Liaising with forwarders and customers to coordinate schedules and delivery arrangements
Requirements
- Minimum 2-3 years of work experience in supply planning or related roles within manufacturing organizations
- Minimum Diploma in Inventory Management or equivalent or any other related field.
- On-the- job trained in the company
- Exceptional coordination and organizational abilities.
- Effective communication skills for managing customers and team interactions.
- Ability to work a 5.5-day work week (alternate Saturdays).
