The Associate Director will be responsible for the successful and timely delivery of AI and digital transformation initiatives across Singtel Singapore.
Acting as both Product Owner and Scrum Master, this role will lead cross functional teams through solution design, agile execution, process optimization and stakeholder alignment.
This role also plays a key part in mentoring and leading team members and driving the realization of benefits through adoption and sustained execution of AI initiative.
Drive implementation and adoption of AI initiatives
- Drive timely and high-quality implementation of AI and digital transformation initiatives across functions
- Lead cross-functional teams through end-to-end delivery, from discovery and design to execution and post-implementation review.
- Translate business needs into detailed user stories and functional requirements and ensure alignment with solution delivery.
- Plan
- Conduct change impact assessments and lead adoption strategies including SOP development and user readiness activities.
- Facilitate and lead agile process including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog collation, retrospectives and demos. Resolve delivery roadblocks swiftly and ensure alignment across all stakeholders.
Serve as Product Owner for strategic AI projects
- Define and manage product vision and roadmap for key AI initiatives. - Prioritise product features and user stories in close collaboration with stakeholders.
- Ensure robust user acceptance testing and lead change management efforts to drive adoption.
- Work closely with developers to ensure requirements are understood and implemented effectively. Conduct market research and competitive benchmarking and ensure solutions reflect industry best practices.
Lead and Mentor High-Performing Team Members
- Manage and mentor a team of transformation specialists and analysts.
- Foster a collaborative, outcome-oriented culture. Ensure strong team engagement and professional development.
Solution Documentation and Communication
- Produce high-quality documentation detailing interim and end-state solutions, impact assessments, and mitigation strategies.
Formalize communication materials for leadership updates, change announcements, and stakeholder briefings.
Drive Data Analysis and Insight Generation
- Lead data gathering and analysis efforts to support evidence-based decision-making during solution design and implementation.
Identify trends, root causes, and optimization opportunities using LEAN Six Sigma techniques.
Monitor solution performance and drive continuous improvement post-implementation.
Realize Business Case Benefits
- Track delivery of transformation KPIs and operational metrics against business case targets.
- Identify and implement process and system improvement opportunities. Communicate and manage changes to ensure minimal disruption and maximum value capture.
Skills for Success:
- 10 years of relevant experience
- Agile Project Management
- Certified in Scrum Master / Product Owner
- Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt
- Track record in delivering AI initiatives
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Good to have familiarity with enterprise data governance
