Key Responsibilities
- Plan and prepare weekly menus (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) in consultation with the owner.
- Ensure sufficient raw ingredients are stocked and well stored.
- Oversee kitchen cleanliness and daily food preparation standards.
- Supervise and train helpers on proper food preparation, cooking methods, plating, and hygiene SOPs.
- Ensure proper table settings according to the day’s menu.
- Prepare dining environment (including air-conditioning) before meals.
- Oversee meal service and ensure smooth coordination during dining times.
- Supervise post-meal cleaning of the kitchen and dining area.
Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of relevant cooking experience .
- Strong skills in preparing healthy Chinese cuisine (especially Cantonese and Teochew, home-cooked style). Flexible and adaptable in work arrangements.
