Key Responsibilities:
- Menu Planning & Development – Create and update a creative, well-balanced menu that aligns with our cafe concept and brand.
- Daily Kitchen Operations – Oversee food preparation, cooking, and plating to ensure consistency, taste, and presentation meet high standards.
- Inventory & Cost Control – Manage ingredient ordering, stock control, and minimize wastage while maintaining food cost targets.
- Hygiene & Compliance – Ensure kitchen cleanliness, food safety, and adherence to health regulations.
- Team Management – Supervise and train kitchen staff, ensuring smooth coordination between front and back of house.
- Quality Assurance – Conduct regular tasting and quality checks to maintain high standards.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Chef in a cafe, restaurant, or similar setting.
- Strong culinary skills with creativity in menu planning.
- Knowledge of kitchen management, inventory control, and food cost management.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain quality under pressure.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices.
Working Hours: Possible for fixed days/hours or rotating shifts
