Role Introduction
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Video Editor. The ideal candidate will have a passion for visual storytelling and a strong understanding of how video content can drive engagement and deliver key messages to enterprise-level audiences. You will work closely with our content creators, and marketing teams to produce compelling videos that align with KKBC's and our client’s digital marketing strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Find, edit, and assemble raw images/footage into polished videos for marketing campaigns, webinars, and social media platforms.
- Collaborate with the creative and marketing teams to understand project goals and translate them into engaging visual content.
- Add appropriate music, sound effects, and voiceovers to enhance the final product.
- Apply color correction, motion graphics, and visual effects as needed.
- Ensure all videos meet brand guidelines and are optimized for various platforms (web, social, email).
- Continuously suggest creative improvements to increase engagement and performance.
- Manage multiple projects with tight deadlines, maintaining a high level of quality.
Qualifications:
- At least 4-5 years experience as a Video Editor with a portfolio showcasing your work.
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or similar.
- Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, and visual composition.
- Experience in adding motion graphics, transitions, and basic animations.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of social media video formats, including X (formerly Twitter), LinkedIn, YouTube, and Instagram.
- Strong attention to detail, research, and time management skills.
NOTE about this job:
1. This is a freelance contract based on a remote setting, we don't have any plan to offer you a full-time position for this role
2. Only experienced and relevant candidates will be proceeding forward
3. Project length: 3-6 months, approximately 20-40 hours per month
4. Be flexible to join our daily operations for 3-4 hours per day
