Job responsibilities :
- Oversee and maintain credit relationships with retail clients primarily in the US and European markets.
- Conduct comprehensive financial assessments and credit research on new and existing accounts in line with company risk protocols.
- Draft credit approval documents, highlighting any exceptions and providing well-founded recommendations.
- Monitor portfolio health regularly through financial tracking and client interactions, including participation in earnings calls and briefings.
- Detect and report early warning signs of credit deterioration, market shifts, and other relevant economic conditions.
- Collaborate closely with customers, credit insurers, and internal departments to ensure smooth credit processes and resolve issues.
- Leverage advanced spreadsheet and data analysis techniques to evaluate sales figures, operational costs, and other key performance indicators, delivering actionable insights.
- Prepare detailed credit reports adhering to both company standards and regulatory guidelines.
- Take charge of special projects related to credit risk management as needed by leadership.
Requirements :
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field preferred
- Proven experience in independently performing credit assessments, financial analysis, and forecasting, preferably within banks or credit rating agencies.
- Good communication skills to effectively liaise with customers and internal teams
- Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and handle pressure
- Experience in AI adoption in credit processes is an advantage.
