Our client is a Global Manufacturing MNC, one of the leading players in the Oil & Gas servicing sector. Due to their current expansion plan, they are looking for a Design Engineer to join their team, in hopes of developing the current high performing team. They are located in the West.
Job Responsibilities:
- Design and improve mechanical components and systems for engineering applications.
- Support product development through testing, including system integration and acceptance testing.
- Review and process design updates, technical drawings, and documentation.
- Collaborate with internal teams such as manufacturing, supply chain, and service to support project execution.
- Communicate with clients, suppliers, and vendors to define technical requirements.
- Provide input during engineering design reviews and resolve non-conformance reports (NCRs).
- Investigate field issues and recommend design improvements.
- Participate in technical meetings to ensure proper fit, function, and integration of components.
- Guide and mentor junior engineers when needed.
- Prepare and present updates during internal and project-related meetings.
- Perform any ad-hoc duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Min Degree in engineering, energy, manufacturing management or manufacturing technology
- Min 4 years’ experience of relevant experience.
