Scentopia is looking for a marketing manager for:
1. Strategy & Integration
- Develop a sustainability roadmap aligned with Singapore’s Green Plan 2030 and global ESG trends.
- Integrate sustainability into product design, packaging, sourcing, and operations .
- Identify opportunities for circular economy models (refills, recycling programs, zero-waste workshops).
2. Compliance & Standards
- Ensure compliance with local and international ESG regulations .
- Manage sustainability certifications (Fair Trade, FSC, Carbon Neutral, Leaping Bunny, etc.) where relevant.
- Maintain reporting frameworks for ESG audits, investor relations, and public communication .
3. Brand & Storytelling
- Translate operational sustainability into brand narratives customers care about.
- Lead eco-conscious marketing campaigns (e.g., highlighting local sourcing, orchid conservation, cultural heritage preservation).
- Partner with the digital marketing team to ensure sustainability messaging is authentic, not tokenistic .
4. Partnerships & Advocacy
- Build partnerships with NGOs, government bodies, and green innovators .
- Position the company as a thought leader in sustainable luxury/experiential retail.
- Develop CSR programs (supporting local artisans, biodiversity conservation, community education).
5. Measurement & Reporting
- Set up systems to track and report carbon footprint, waste reduction, supply chain sustainability, and social impact .
- Create annual Sustainability & Impact Reports to showcase progress and transparency.
- Develop KPIs linking sustainability to business outcomes (customer loyalty, brand equity, cost savings).
Key Skills Needed
- Sustainability frameworks knowledge (ESG, GRI, UN SDGs).
- Brand communication skills – ability to turn technical sustainability data into inspiring storytelling .
- Cross-functional leadership – can work with marketing, product, finance, and supply chain teams.
- Stakeholder management – comfortable with regulators, investors, and NGOs.
