Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Document Controller to oversee the administration of project documentation, systems, and processes across construction sites. This role ensures compliance with legislative and statutory regulations, supports contract preparation, and facilitates smooth site operations including supply management, subcontractor payments, and EHS compliance.


Key Responsibilities

  • Administer and maintain construction documentation, ensuring accuracy, version control, and timely distribution to stakeholders
  • Manage document control systems and workflows
  • Coordinate and contribute to the preparation of construction works contracts and related documentation
  • Track and manage supplies and materials received on site, ensuring proper documentation and reporting
  • Administer payments to subcontractors in alignment with project milestones and contractual terms
  • Facilitate Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) compliance by maintaining relevant documentation and supporting site teams
  • Serve as the primary contact point for site administrative operations, liaising with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ensure all activities comply with company policies, practices, and applicable regulations
  • Support internal and external communications, including technical documentation and reporting.

Qualifications & Attributes

  • Diploma/Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
  • Comprehensive experience in a similar role or financial administration within the construction industry
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, documentation standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Familiarity with document management systems (e.g., Aconex, Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud)
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage across all levels of the organization.
  • Knowledge of company policies, practices, and personnel to effectively carry out responsibilities.
  • Technical skills to support the delivery of internal and external communications.
