Responsibilities
- Assess and identify required storage space based on project and inventory guidelines.
- Perform pre-move-in route inspections to identify and resolve obstructions in accordance with internal safety protocols.
- Coordinate with customers and appointed movers to schedule and confirm part storage locations and timing.
- Monitor and report any part damage during move-in using the company's damage reporting procedures.
- Maintain high standards of 6S housekeeping across site and storage areas.
- Track, record, and manage part status and quantity using internal inventory tracking or ERP systems.
- Tabulate and document interference checks prior to installation using standard checklists.
- Cross-verify drawings, panel placements, and hole openings with installation teams to ensure alignment with project specifications.
- Collaborate with departments including Engineering, Planning, and QA/QC to support on-time project delivery.
- Provide daily progress updates using standard reporting templates.
- Use AutoCAD to identify panel location changes and perform simple drawing modifications.
- Follow up on incoming power status and confirm readiness per site requirements.
- Process AR parts requests and retrieve relevant technical drawings via internal databases.
- Complete commissioning check sheets and ensure equipment setup aligns with required specifications.
- Install and configure software and parameters for all equipment in accordance with company deployment standards.
- Prepare and submit SOPs and commissioning reports for assigned tasks.
- Conduct troubleshooting and error recovery prior to customer acceptance tests.
- Deliver customer training sessions on equipment operation, either onsite or virtually.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with DAIFUKU systems, equipment, and installation procedures are required.
- Proficient in AutoCAD and able to interpret technical drawings used in engineering and installation.
- Strong interpersonal and coordination skills with the ability to engage both internal departments and external clients.
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet project deadlines.
- Proficiency in Japanese (spoken and written) is required to liaise with Japan headquarters and interpret technical documentation provided in Japanese.
