Summary
Join Scoot’s Safety, Security, Sustainability & Quality (SSSQ) team as an Engineer, Quality, where you’ll play a key role in maintaining an effective Quality Management System (QMS) and ensuring ongoing compliance with regulatory and corporate standards. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Quality, you will support activities that uphold the validity of Scoot’s Air Operator Certificate (AOC), contribute to audit preparedness, and help maintain high-quality operations across various departments.This role also supports the Quality Engineering Operations function, including aircraft sales, leasing, and certification projects.
Job Description
As a Quality Engineer, you will:
Coordinate regulatory audits and inspections (local and foreign) including corrective action closures to support AOC compliance.
Track and communicate regulatory updates to internal stakeholders.
Maintain internal compliance tracking systems (ANR compliance system).
Prepare for and facilitate CAAS audits (Quarterly, Mid-Term, AOC Renewal) and manage finding closures.
Support IOSA audit coordination and corrective action closures.
Manage and update audit tracking matrices and reporting tools (Master Audit Register, COQMR, QMR, ASC reports).
Lead the internal audit programme across operational departments.
Review and approve internal auditors under the QMS framework.
Maintain and update Quality documentation and manuals.
Drive initiatives such as the digital document management system (DMS) transition.
Maintain the Quality Division’s hazard register.
Support engineering and certification projects, including aircraft entry-into-service and sales/leasing activities.
Undertake additional duties or projects as assigned by the Senior Manager, Quality.
Requirements:
Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Aeronautical or related fields)
Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in aviation quality or compliance
Completion of QMS Auditor training (or equivalent) is preferred
Strong understanding of CAAS regulations (ANO, ANR, SAR)
Working knowledge of quality auditing practices
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Tableau, or similar tools
Willingness to travel as required
