Key Responsibilities
- Design & Coordination
Review facade design drawings, shop drawings, and material submissions to ensure compliance with project specifications and authority requirements.
Liaise with architects, consultants, and facade specialists for technical clarifications.
Coordinate facade works with other trades to prevent clashes and delays. - Site Supervision & Inspection
Oversee facade installation works on-site, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
Prepare and conduct inspection requests for facade works with the RTO/RE/QP.
Ensure rectification of defects and non-conformance issues. - Quality Assurance & Control (QA/QC)
Implement QA/QC procedures for facade works in coordination with subcontractors.
Review and verify testing of facade systems, such as water tightness, air permeability, and structural integrity.
Monitor and maintain proper documentation for facade quality records. - Project & Stakeholder Management
Support project planning, scheduling, and progress monitoring for facade works.
Manage subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely material delivery and installation.
Attend technical meetings and site coordination meetings as required. - Safety & Compliance
Ensure facade works comply with BCA, Singapore Standards, and project EHS regulations.
Promote safe work practices and participate in safety inspections.
Requirements
- Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
- At least 2–5 years of experience in facade engineering, curtain wall, or cladding works.
- Strong understanding of facade systems (curtain walls, aluminum cladding, glass systems, etc.).
- Familiar with local codes and regulations (BCA, SS, Eurocodes).
- Proficient in AutoCAD, BIM/Revit, or similar software.
- Good communication and coordination skills with consultants, subcontractors, and site teams.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
